General Description

The BSMJ Low Voltage Single Phase Self-healing Shunt Power Capacitor are suitable for low-frequency power systems with a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. They are mainly used to improve power factor, reduce reactive power loss, improve voltage quality, and tap transformer capacity.

It is the best power-saving product strongly recommended for use in Europe, North and South America, Southeast Asia and other countries.

● Rated voltage: 0.23, 0.4, 0.45, 0.48, 0.525, 0.69, 0.75,1.2kV, other voltages could be specially ordered;

● Rated capacity:1-60kvar of 0.4-0.69kV,the capacity of other voltage levels could be specially ordered;

● Rated frequency: 50Hz or 60Hz;

● Capacity tolerance: -5% ~ + 10%;

● Loss angle tangent: tan δ ≤0.1% at 20 ℃;

● Withstand voltage: 2.15 times the rated voltage between electrodes for 5 seconds, 2Un + 2kV or 3kV between electrodes and shell, whichever is the higher, 10 seconds, no permanent breakdown or flashover;

● Max. allowable over-voltage: no more than 8 hours per 24 hours at 1.1 times of the rated voltage; no more than 30 minutes every 24 hours at 1.15 times of the rated voltage; no more than 5 minutes at 1.2 times of the rated voltage;no more than 1 minute at 1.3 times of the rated voltage;

● Max. allowable current: The allowable current does not exceed 1.3 times the rated current. For transient over-current, considering the effects of over-voltage, positive capacitance deviation, and harmonics, the max. transient over-current should not exceed 1.43 times of the rated current;

● Connection method: △, Y , star connection neutral point lead out(Y-), Ⅲ three-segment type,single-phase type and other connection methods, other connection methods are agreed upon according to user needs;

● Self-discharge performance: Residual voltage is reduced from √2Un to below 50V within 3 minutes after the capacitor is powered off;
